Michelle Lorette

Welcome! Novelist, Michelle Lorette, is a long-time dreamer who has turned her day-dreaming ability towards writing. As an avid reader and book lover, she has spent many hours browsing bookstores and libraries as well as working in various libraries across the country. Her love of architecture directed her to a career as a CAD technician, but her love of learning sent her back to school, where she completed her bachelor's degree in history. The skills that she learned while writing endless college papers helped feed her passion for knowledge and research, which has been a blessing and a curse as she uses those skills to research for her stories, sometimes losing hours as she gets lost down a rabbit hole of endless information.

With the publication of Seduced by the Blues in 2024, Michelle has begun the Fox Cove Mystery series, a cozy series that follows Deana Weber, a librarian trying to navigate her way through life in the imaginary village of Fox Cove, in central Pennsylvania. Along the way she stumbles over dead bodies and gets involved in a murder or two.
